The new ‘alpha’ boot in Cortech’s lineup, the Impulse Air boots build upon the Latigo with a construction that is lighter, more supportive and more aggressively styled. Utilizing a hinged ankle system, the design works to control lateral motion while also offering impact protection as well. Aluminum sliders cap both the toe and outer shin and to go along with this, molded TPU armor reinforces the heel, toe and shin. The leather construction is perforated from top to bottom and while it looks like the fit isn’t adjustable, an easy to use inner lacing system tailors the tension around the ankle.
